BEST REFILL FOR FAVORITE PEN., August 22, 2010

I use an old Anson sterling pen for daily carry/work as it can use a Pilot Q7 refill (gel) which is a fine point. I recently started to write with a sterling Parker Ciselle that I only carried for more formal stuff like big meetings, seminars, etc. I was surprised that it actually writes quite a bit finer than the Q7!! I like the way it looks on paper and am using my Parker a lot more now, even though it costs two to three times as much to feed compared to my Anson lol. Highly recommend to all discerning dweebs to whom these things are of import :}

Works great! I don't care for the medium point, it puts out to much ink for me. This fine point is perfect for the way I write.
Shipping was the right price (free) and quick. I'm going to order another right away!

Parker Rollerball Pens and Refills are the best I've tried, January 20, 2008

I'm the sort of pen owner that needs a _slightly_ expensive pen to keep from losing it but not too expensive to make it a target for others to take.

Parker's pens that accept this rollerball refill fit this need perfectly. The pens themselves are nicely weighted but not too heavy. The Parker rollerballs write on better paper smoothly and consistently. The medium tip is a bit "fat" for me, especially on cheaper paper. Combine the fine tip with smooth paper and bang! I've found the mix I like.

Anytime I let someone else use the pen they say "Hey Jim... that's a nice pen!"

The only issue I've found with the Parker rollerball is their tendency to leak after airplane travel. Maybe there is a preferred way to store them for travel but I haven't found one.

It is not a cheap pen and pencil set, it is a Very Nice pen and pencil set that is not overpriced.

Jotter has always been my favorite pen. I started on a new degree and found myself in need of pencils. I bought the kind that needed a pencil sharpener and didn't like how often sharpening interrupted my work. So I started shopping for a mechanical pencil. I couldn't believe how many are thick like the husky pencils I had to use in the third grade. Not comfortable. So I started thinking about how nice it would be if Parker had a pencil like the Jotter. A little searching brought me to Amazon.com where I could buy a set. I was really after the pencil part of the set, but that wasn't an option.

My parkers arrived today. I ordered three, since another reviewer warned that any color could arrive. I ended up with two blue sets and a cranberry set. Fine by me, what I really wanted was a pink pencil to go with my pink pen. So with a little investigating I figured out that the mechanical pencil bottom barrel is the same as the pen bottom barrel. I popped a cylinder-pin out and now have a matching pink set. Yay!

How to change the barrel:
1. Unscrew the top from the pencil and set it aside
2. Depress the mechanism and shake the pencil to reveal the cylinder-pin
3. Take a small sewing needle or pin and bend the end of the cylinder up where the edges meet
4. Using a small tweezers, grab hold of the cylinder and pull it out.
5. Switch the barrel and pop the cylinder back in.

This is without a doubt my favorite pen - the Parker Jotter. I was expecting the blue set but when I opened up the Amazon package in the mail it was red. Just a FYI to those who buy this - my guess is that it could be any color.

The pencil is the main reason why I bought this - I have a ton of Jotters all over my room anyway. The pencil is great - going to use it for drawing.

The Jotter is one of the best ballpoint pens you can buy on the market today - it lasts forever and is really smooth.

I ordered this interesting looking pen recently because of the incredible Amazon price and my love of Monteverde pens.

I was rather disheartened right after I ordered it because of the review here that didn't enjoy the multicolored aspect of the pen,I guess they were hoping for the "tan" pen to be more of a true "tan" than what it happens to be,

The color of each pen is a little different on each one made. They take several different colors of resin,black,white & tan and stretch them together kinda like taffy creating a slightly different look for each of these superior pens.

I have several models of these wonderful Monteverde writing instruments & they are extremely well made. They write perfectly,last for years and they're beautiful.

Here's the most important part: These Monteverde pens always work! (and I love the way they look too)

The pen is described as green and looks green, but in reality it only has a couple green stripes and is not actually green. Also, the pen is shorter than a standard pen, and being that it's fatter, it's hard to hold when trying to write. It looks nice, but not like a $50, or even like a $20... it's just plastic. If you can find a comfortable way to hold the pen, it does write nicely, but it is not one you'd carry in your checkbook. It might be a man's pocket pen, because it is so short, but you better not forget to close it or you'll drain the ink onto your shirt.

I got this pen as an Amazon Gold box deal, I could not pass up the deal so i said what the hell. I love this pen, It's fat, so if you do not like a fat heavy feeling pen then this is not for you. It writes smooth, no skips. I get all kinds of comments on the pen. All good and when I let them write with it. They want to know where I got it...Amazon. For all you executive types out their it looks great on the desk.
